An 18th century former Post Office, much extended, and lovingly restored in 2007 by Christopher and Nicola Crewe-Read.
The Old Post Office offers luxury bed & breakfast accommodation in two beautifully appointed double bedrooms. South facing with the sun pouring in for much of the day, our two lovely bedrooms are light, spacious and full of Cotswold character. Fabulously comfortable mattresses, with sumptuous Australian wool toppers, luxurious Hungarian goose down duvets and beautiful fresh white bedlinen from the White Company and Cologne and Cotton combine to ensure the best night’s sleep.
Breakfast at the large table in the drawing room is at your discretion. Local free range Burford Brown eggs, Gloucester Old Spot bacon and sausages, fillet of kipper, scrummy homemade kedgeree, eggs any which way. Nicola makes her own jams and marmalades and homemade elderflower cordial is a house staple.
