The pretty Cotswold village of Adlestrop invites you to spend a special Sunday afternoon enjoying its mix of attractions. Noted for its literary associations with Jane Austen and the poet, Edward Thomas, Adlestrop opens up for this popular annual event on Sunday 10 June 2018 from 12.00 – 5.00 pm.
The Fun Dog Show at 2’o’clock will be judged by Eleanor Tomlinson, star of BBC’s ‘Poldark’.
There will be a Barbecue lunch available at the Village Hall from 12 o’clock, and fantastic homemade teas all afternoon.
A range of delightful gardens are open in this un-spoilt Cotswold village and in the church, decorated with flowers, a children’s choir for Kitebrook School will sing. There will be traditional children’s games on the village green next to the thatched Post Office which is open for souvenirs and ice cream. The Metz Band will play outside the village hall while you browse the bric-a- brac, tombola, home produce and plants stalls sipping a glass of Pimms from the bar. And finally there is the chance to see the splendid horses in Richard Phillips’ racing stables… a memorable afternoon in this tranquil place.A variety of Beautiful Gardens to view
