There’s something for everyone to enjoy at Adlestrop Open Day
on the afternoon of 9 June from midday until 5 pm.
You can explore its beautiful gardens and church, enjoy a Fun Dog Show, Traditional Children’s Games, BBQ, Teas, Jazz Band and view Adlestrop Racing Stables. The early afternoon features the Fun Dog Show at 2 o’clock. A great BBQ serves regular, and veggie, burgers plus gourmet sausages by the Village Hall from 12 o’clock, and there are fantastic homemade cakes served with tea all afternoon inside the hall. A range of delightful and varied gardens are open in this tranquil Cotswold village. You will find traditional children’s games on the village green next to the thatched Post Office which is open for souvenirs and ice cream. The bus shelter features the old railway sign commemorating the village’s association with the famous Edward Thomas poem. A Traditional Jazz band will play outside the village hall while you browse the bric-a-brac, tombola, home produce and plants stalls.

Adlestrop is situated about 3 miles from Stow on the Wold and 6 miles from Chipping Norton – just half a mile off the A436
Disabled facilities in Village Hall and access possible to some gardens.
