An Adlestrop Garden Scene

Adlestrop opens its gardens: 14 June 2020

This beautiful and unspoilt Cotswold village has its Open Day on Sunday 14 June from 12
noon until 5 pm. Lots of gorgeous gardens are open plus Children’s Games on the Green
and ices and souvenirs in the picturesque thatched post office.
There will be fascinating talks in the medieval church about Jane Austen and her historic
links to the village as well as one on Edward Thomas who wrote the famous poem
‘Adlestrop’. Simple lunches and delicious homemade cakes at the Village Hall make it a
memorable afternoon. £5 per adult entry, children free, including parking.
Adlestrop is half a mile off the A436 between Stow on the Wold and Chipping Norton.
